The NSCNA’s newsletter, the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood News, is published every three months: a Spring issue in mid-March; a Summer one in mid-June; Fall in mid-September, and Winter in mid-December. It contains information related to the neighborhood and issues of concern for our members. Residents are encouraged to submit articles on topics of neighborhood interest to newsletter@nscna.org. We also encourage NSCNA members interested in writing, journalism, advertising, and online communication via websites, blogs, social media, etc. to join the Media Committee. Our neighborhood began publishing a print newsletter around 1996. The founding Newsletter editor was Pam Penick in 1996, followed by Tracy Urban in 2000, Alyssa Hedge in 2002, Sandy Perkins in 2007, Chris Jones in 2009, Cheri Hartman in 2010, Juliette Kernion in 2011, Claudia Perez in 2012 and 2013 and co-editors Sharon Justice, Erin Poole and Debi Smith in 2014 and 2015, and Sharon Justice since 2016.
