The NSC Community Garden Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 14th 10am at the Community Garden (corner of the Pillow Elementary School Campus at Crosscreek and Flagstone).
Guest speakers include Council Member Leslie Pool, and representatives from The Sustainable Food Center and Parks and Recreation Department. Compost demos will be given, and the Master Gardener will also be on hand to answer your spring gardening questions.

The North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan public hearing has been postponed to April 24th.
This email is to inform you that the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan public hearing has been postponed. There will be no presentation on April 10th. The case will be heard at the April 24th Planning Commission at 6:00PM at City Hall. We will send an update when the City Council date is determined.

The draft North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan is scheduled for public hearings at Planning Commission on April 10th (6:00 PM) and City Council on April 26th (4:00 PM). Both hearings will be in City Council Chambers at City Hall (301 West 2nd Street, Austin, Texas). The draft plan is available for review in PDF format (15MB file) at http://austintexas.gov/northshoalcreek.
The draft plan will also be available for review at the North Village Branch Library.
Thanks for all of your help throughout the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan process! Residents and property owners in the planning area will receive a notification via USPS. If you have any comments for the public hearings, you can mail the comment card in the notification letter back to us, or email staff, or testify at the public hearings.
