Claudell Migl passed away Friday, September 11. A long-time resident of our neighborhood, Claudell and John moved into the (then) brand-new neighborhood in 1971. Their children attended Pillow, Burnet, and Anderson High Schools.
This was her third year serving as Secretary of North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Association. She worked hard for our association, cleaning up the past-due paperwork and reinstating our status as a non-profit corporation. The Migls were involved in the initial organization effort of the neighborhood association back in 1978, and again in 1998 when it was incorporated.
The family will receive friends at Cook-Walden funeral home (6100 North Lamar) from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2009. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Assumption Mausoleum.
