Neighbors are invited to take a break from all the hustle and bustle and come together to visit, walk, reflect…
On Thursday, December 20 we will be lighting up the track at Pillow Elementary School with luminaries from 6-8pm for our Annual Luminaria Walk. Luminaries are white paper bags weighted down with sand and illuminated with tea light candles. Our neighborhood association sponsored the first Luminaria Walk in 2010. The 2011 event was cancelled due to rain.
We look forward to neighbors, students and families coming together at this festive event!
Volunteers are needed to gather at the covered basketball court at Pillow at 4pm to help to assemble the 500+ luminaries. Volunteers also needed at 8pm to help clean-up.
