Austin Energy crews will be in North Shoal Creek soon to trim tree branches away from power lines. Before they actually do any work on the trees, though, they will send a letter to each property owner who has trees needing to be trimmed. These notification letters will be sent about two weeks from the date of their letter to NSCNA, which is dated March 13. So, the letters should start arriving the last few days of March or early April.Austin Energy crews will be in North Shoal Creek soon to trim trees branches away from power lines. A copy of the Austin Energy letter is posted below. Please read it so you’ll be familiar with the process. Given the damage to Austin trees wreaked by February’s Ice Storm Mara, NSCNA encourages you to cooperate with Austin Energy so that future damage to power lines can be minimized.
