Austin Community Tree Program Block Walk 2018
The Austin Community Tree program is looking for volunteers to help with a block walk on Saturday, September 29 to reach residents in Austin’s North Shoal Creek neighborhood.
We will meet at 8 am. Make sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water.
Location; Pillow Elementary; 3025 Crosscreek Dr, Austin, TX 78757
What volunteers will be doing:
- Block-walk a section of the North Shoal Creek neighborhood to offer free trees to eligible properties;
- Distribute door hangers and tree flags to potential tree-planting sites;
- Record data;
- Volunteers should bring hat, sunscreen, and water.
- On-site training will be provided.
- Refreshments provided
