  • NSCNA ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, JAN 9

    The Annual General Membership Meeting of the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Association will be held:

    When: Tuesday, January 9, 2018, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
    Where: Pillow Elementary School Library, 3025 Crosscreek Drive.

    Activities and topics will include:
    1. Election of officers and directors for 2018.
    2. Annual Committee Reports.
    3. NSC Neighborhood Plan and NSC Contact Team.
    4. CodeNEXT.
    5. Sign up for 2018 committees, committee chairs, and work groups.

  • NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN SURVEY DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JAN 1

    The following was received from Jeff Engstrom, AICP, Senior Planer , City of Austin Planning and Zoning Department:

    We have extended the comment deadline for the Draft North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan.

    Due to popular demand, we’re extending the time for everyone to review and comment on the draft North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan. The survey will now close on Monday, January 1st.

    Check out the Draft North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan on the plan web page: www.austintexas.gov/northshoalcreek
    If you haven’t yet, take the Final Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NorthShoalCreekFinalSurvey
    Also, check out the draft Future Land Use Map here: http://arcg.is/18vTCu. Zoom in and click on any parcel to see the proposed Character District and the current Zoning District.

    There will be more chances to provide input on the plan as it goes for public review. The plan is tentatively scheduled to be presented at the following meetings:

    January 10th: Small Area Planning Joint Committee
    February 27th: Planning Commission
    Late March or early April: City Council (notices will be mailed when date is confirmed)

  • Take the North Shoal Creek Draft Plan Survey

    Media Committee

    Don’t forget to take the Draft Plan Survey for the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan! This is your last chance to comment on the draft plan before it heads to Planning Commission and City Council in February and March of 2018. The survey will close after this Friday, December 22nd.
    • Check out the Draft North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan on the plan web page:  www.austintexas.gov/northshoalcreek
    • Then take the Final Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NorthShoalCreekFinalSurvey

    The survey will be open through this Friday, December 22nd. After that, staff will collect and analyze the results, along with comments collected at the Draft Plan Open House. (If you submitted a paper survey at the Open House or at the North Village Branch Library you don’t need to submit the survey again.) Comments will be posted online and addressed prior to the public review process. Stay tuned for an announcement of public review dates!

    Thanks for all of your help throughout the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan! Please take this last chance to let us know what we got right, what you thought of the planning process, and how we can make the Draft Plan perfect before heading for official review.

    The Planning & Zoning Department is pleased to announce the release of the draft North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan. At this point the draft is 90% complete. The draft plan is available for review in PDF format on the Plan web page, http://www.austintexas.gov/department/north-shoal-creek. The draft plan will also be available for review at the North Village Branch Library.

    Come see the draft plan and give us your comments at the Draft Plan Open House:

    Vote on top action priorities
