  • As many of you may be aware, January is election time for the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Association. A Nominating Committee has been formed to seek possible candidates for the four officer positions (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer) and seven board positions. To help gather information about potential nominees, the Nominating Committee has drafted a questionnaire and is asking anyone who may be interested in an officer or board position to complete the questionnaire as soon as possible. The questionnaire can be found in Word format here or in PDF format here.

The Nominating Committee is asking that potential nominees respond to the questions included in the questionnaire and respond by Friday, December 5, if at all possible, so that the committee can have the information to use in making its recommendation to the membership in January. In your response, be sure to include complete contact information so that the committee can contact you for any additional information we may need. Also be aware that all positions require that your membership in the organization be current. If you are unsure whether you paid your dues this year, never fear! Thanks to our newly revised bylaws, any dues payment made after November 1 of this year covers the remainder of this year (2008) plus all of next year. So send your $15 in now to the following address: North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Assoc. P.O. Box 66443, Austin, TX 78766.
